Abigail McCook was born and raised in Houston, TX. Abigail received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2020. She is currently working on her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis in substance use disorders at Colorado Christian University, to be completed in 2023.
Abigail is a current graduate student gaining experience with a variety of populations. Her current work has provided experience in crisis work and substance use disorders and addictions.
Life is full of unexpected ups and downs. Abigail understands how vital and courageous it is to seek help and learn the tools to live a more authentic existence. She strives to make all clients feel safe, accepted, and respected. It is never too late to make changes and continue to grow. When Abigail is not with clients, she enjoys being with family, working on creative projects, spending time in nature, and reading books.
