Amanda Nolan is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. Amanda was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, and is an Air Force veteran. She earned her Masters of Arts degree in Counseling and Guidance from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2018. She has worked with diverse populations since she started her internship in 2017.
Her background includes helping children and adolescents (ages 4-18) learn how to manage difficult emotions related to grief and trauma. She has also worked with the adult populations managing complex grief, loss and trauma. In addition, she has experience working with the active duty military and veteran population who are impacted by combat related trauma, MST, childhood sexual trauma, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, substance use, and occupational stressors. Amanda is dedicated to helping people get "unstuck" by providing a safe space to explore what is holding them back from living the type of life they want to live.
In her spare time she loves to read, binge watch Netflix shows, listening to music, exercising, and spending time with her family.
