
Cathy is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist Associate. She received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas A & M University – San Antonio in 2018. She has experience in working with children, adolescents, and families and is passionate about helping families minimize conflict, resolve crisis situations, and foster helpful coping and parenting skills. Cathy empowers her clients to reduce and resolve the challenges that are experienced with depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual assault, child abuse, suicidal ideation, self-harm, bullying, grief, communication, family dynamics, and other life situations to include a variety of diagnosed mental health disorders.
As a 24-year military veteran, Cathy has had endless encounters with people of diverse backgrounds and has an immense understanding of concerns, issues, and experiences relative to a military life-style. She has a genuine appreciation, respect, and concern for others. She believes all should be provided every opportunity to succeed in life armed with skills to handle daily challenges. Cathy believes that life's dynamics and the interpretation of life's events are unique to each individual and each family.
