Larissa was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2017, where she returned to earn her Master of Science degree in 2019. In 2020 she became a Licensed Professional Therapist in the state of Texas.
Larissa is experienced in providing psychotherapy to children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. Her passion includes working with the LGBTQ community exploring sexual orientation, and aiding those with various types of trauma such as family issues, domestic violence, abuse, etc. In addition, she has gained knowledge and experience working with depression, relationship stress/issues, anger, loss/grief, as well as daily life struggles.
Larissa’s comforting, genuine, and passionate approach creates a safe environment to work through the stressors of daily life. She believes throughout our lifetime, we will have challenges too heavy to carry on our own and when working together, we can bear the weight together, thus lightening the burden. She also believes she can empower her clients to discover their innate strengths, help them navigate the challenges that face them, and learn to embrace life. In her free time, Larissa likes to binge Netflix shows, travel, bake, and enjoy time with her family and friends.
