Michelle is a Licensed Professional Therapist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She
received her Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. She is passionate about couples, family and marriage therapy. She has experience in working with school-aged children 6-18 and adults with behavior issues, anxiety, depression, sexual identity, grief, and trauma.
Michelle has gained knowledge working with active duty military experiencing combat trauma, non-combat trauma, and military sexual trauma. As an Air Force Veteran, a military spouse and mother of two she has extensive knowledge of the unique situations that arise within the military family and parenting. Michelle believes our family of origin can greatly affect how we manage daily challenges. During her free time, she enjoys walking, hiking, Zumba classes, spending time with her spouse of 25 years and traveling.
Michelle believes that life is a mosaic and that all of our life experiences helps shape us into the person we are, her motto for therapy is: ‘give a man a fish he’ll eat or a day, teach him how to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime’. She understands the importance of mental, physical and spiritual health and encourages clients to find their unique balance. Michelle practices at our North Central San Antonio and Northwest San Antonio location and has daytime and evening availability.
