Sydney is a Licensed Professional Therapist who was born in Colorado, but has lived in Texas the majority of her life. She attended McMurry University in Abilene, Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2011. She then received her Masters in Therapy at The University of Texas at San Antonio in December of 2013. She has experience helping children, adolescents, and adults as they work through issues of anxiety, depression, life transitions, low self-esteem, grief, trauma, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and sexual, physical, and emotional abuse. Sydney can provide play therapy services for children and adolescents, as well as, support for their parents.
As a faith-based therapist, Sydney wants to help clients realize their God given potential and purpose in life. She believes that healing starts with building a genuine connection with each client, and she strives to provide a comfortable, safe, and judgement free zone for that to happen. In her free time, you can find Sydney spending quality time with her husband, young daughter, and schnauzer. Sydney practices at our North Central San Antonio location and has daytime and evening availability.
